Thermax – Chemical Division is inviting applications from experienced professionals for the position of Process Engineer. This opportunity is ideal for Chemical Engineers with hands-on experience in process design, PFD and P&ID development, and plant engineering activities.
Position Details
Position: Engineer – Process
Qualification: BE / BTech in Chemical Engineering
Experience Required: 3 to 5 Years
Job Location: Dahej
Key Responsibilities
Preparation of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
Preparation of process data sheets for various equipment
Scheduling and coordination of project site activities
Reviewing vendor-submitted equipment drawings and recommending modifications as per P&ID requirements
Preparing equipment layout and arrangement drawings; reviewing drawings from consultants and vendors
Inspection and supervision of erection and commissioning activities
Identifying process bottlenecks, proposing improvements, and implementing solutions in coordination with cross-functional teams
Conducting process mapping and validation activities
Who Should Apply
Candidates with 3–5 years of relevant experience in:
Process engineering
Chemical plant projects
Equipment design and vendor coordination
Commissioning and site execution
