Position: Sr. Executive – Electrical
Location: Dahej (Bharuch)
Qualification: Bachelor of Electrical Engineering
Experience: 6–8 years in maintenance and project work
License: Valid Electrical Supervisor License mandatory
Key Functions:
- Knowledge of HT/LT panels, VCBs, LT panels, switchgears, transformers, IMCC panels
- Maintenance of motors, control panels, lighting systems, earth pits, lightning arresters, UPS systems, HVAC systems
- Ensure high equipment uptime and control facility power costs
- Participate in installation, erection, and commissioning of electrical equipment
- Knowledge of electrical audits, ISO audits, and compliance audits
Principal Accountabilities:
Plant and Equipment Maintenance
- Timely maintenance of electrical equipment and systems
- Compliance with safety permit requirements
- Breakdown analysis and corrective/preventive actions
- Define critical spares and consumables, develop engineering stores systems
Improve Operating Efficiencies
- Monitor and improve equipment uptime
- Control cost of spares and consumables
- Optimize power consumption
- Train electricians on good engineering practices and safe working
- CAPA and Why-Why/5-Why analysis
- Prepare maintenance procedures for critical equipment
- Conduct audits for efficiency and effectiveness
- Prepare inspection procedures and schedules for critical installations
Project Activities
- Installation and commissioning of electrical equipment
- Coordinate manpower scheduling with contractors, supervise job quality
- Ensure functional communications
- Conduct vendor inspections for clearance
- Plan erection and readiness of resources
- Ensure compliance with safety, timely execution, and quality standards
