Heranba Organics Pvt Ltd, a leading name in the agrochemical manufacturing industry, is inviting applications for the position of Safety Officer – EHS at its Sarigam plant.
Job Details
Department: Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS)
Designation: Safety Officer – EHS
Experience: 3 to 5 years
Qualification:
ADIS / PDIS (Industrial Safety) – Mandatory
Bachelor’s degree preferred (Science or Engineering background)
Work Location: Sarigam, Gujarat
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments
- Implement and monitor EHS policies, procedures, and standards
- Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions
- Organize safety training and awareness programs for employees
- Maintain safety records, incident reports, and statutory documentation
- Monitor proper use of PPE and enforce safety practices at the site
- Investigate accidents and incidents and ensure proper reporting
- Coordinate with internal departments for continuous safety improvement
- Ensure compliance with the Factory Act and other statutory requirements
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have ADIS or PDIS certification (mandatory)
3 to 5 years of relevant experience in industrial safety
Candidates with a Science or Engineering background will be preferred
