Welspun Specialty Solutions: Finishing Manager (Pipe Plant) – Job Opening
Location: Welspun Specialty Solutions Limited
Industry: Iron & Steel Manufacturing
Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute finishing operations across critical stations, including Annealing, Drawing, Polishing, Cutting, and Straightening.
Coordinate effectively with Pilger, Planning, Pickling, and Dispatch teams to ensure a smooth and continuous workflow.
Manage tooling and spare parts inventory; carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
Monitor Work In Progress (WIP) and prioritize dispatches through detailed line-item analysis.
Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA); drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of various stainless-steel grades.
Candidate Profile
Proven leadership and team coordination skills.
Extensive experience in finishing, production, or plant operations within the steel manufacturing sector.
Strong background in process optimization and productivity enhancement.
12–15 years of relevant experience in the same field.
Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
