Shift Incharge – Environment

Position Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the safe and smooth running of Environment Operations, including ETP, WWPT, incinerators, decontamination facilities, and ESMP stormwater ponds.

Responsibilities

Adhere to HSE key requirements applicable to Environment Operations.
Ensure optimum performance and output from Environment Operations by following standard operating procedures.
Monitor the performance of pollution control equipment to achieve desired results.
Follow 5S and all site HSE system requirements within the plant.
Communicate promptly with the supervisor regarding plant abnormalities and carry out field actions accordingly.
Support the implementation of management systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and OnePSS within the plant.
Encourage operators and colleagues to participate in various site-level activities.
Coordinate smoothly and work closely with the team to maintain high workforce morale.
Provide timely feedback to operators and record comments in the growth management system.
Support and implement cost-saving initiatives within the plant.
Complete specialized assignments given by seniors on time.

Who You Are

B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Environmental Science or Chemistry
4–5 years of experience in waste management operations, including MEE, incinerator, and ETP operations, preferably in chemical industries such as agrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, and fine/specialty chemicals.
Sound knowledge of environmental practices, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and 5S.
Strong analytical skills and a systematic approach.
Good communication skills.
